Las Vegas unveils new kitchen cabinet products 2014

In Las Vegas, Nevada – February 4 through 6, 2014 the show floor was open for three days, allowing attendees to maximize their time while they were attending the show.    This years Kitchen Bath Industry Show 2014 offered a wealth of products, educational seminars and networking events, while the co-located National Association Home Builders Show provided expanded opportunities for kitchen and bath industry professionals to see a broad spectrum of new products.

The Show Floor

With two combined shows, attendees had the enhanced opportunities to view a more wide array of products than in years past. The two show spread over 600,00 square feet of space with a wide array of products ranging from cabinetry, appliances, countertops, sinks, faucets, bath fixtures and storage organizers, smart phone control for kitchen gadgets and appliances. There were so many interesting things on display, including technology being integrated into the homes and advances and innovation in materials and applications. The show floor was packed to the gills and the aisles were buzzing.

An example of some cool technology is the Viking’s new 7 Series range features iGrill app technology.  A probe is inserted into the piece of meat being cooked and is connected to Viking’s external thermometer.  The home chef can view the exact temperature of the meat, enabling him to kick up his feet and read the paper in the other room while the meat is cooking instead of waiting impatiently in front of the oven. When the desired temperature is reached, a message is sent directly to the smart phone.   In addition to products and services on displays, there were numerous product demonstrations, celebrity guest, booth presentations and live cooking demonstrations.  HGTV also held live auditions on site for design professionals who might dream of one day hosting their own design show.
